METHODS
OF PRESENTATION
Presentations may be made in one of the following
modes. You need to nominate one of the delivery
methods. The Committee reserves the right to negotiate
the proposed delivery method with the speaker.
1. Oral Presentation
This is the 'traditional' format using PowerPoint
with each speaker given 10 minutes presentation
time, plus 2 minutes of question time.
2. Poster Presentation
The Conference organisers are keen for the program
to promote, and allow more opportunity for, conference
themes to be displayed as posters. This will enable
a larger number of delegates to be active presenters.
To highlight poster presentations, Days 1 and
2 will each feature an Interactive Poster session
in the late afternoon with refreshments, with
no competing oral sessions. This will provide
all delegates with an opportunity to study the
displays and discuss poster presentations with
the authors. Some topics lend themselves more
appropriately to a poster presentation format
rather than an oral session.
Publication
It is planned to publish accepted papers or
presentations in the conference proceedings subject
to the following conditions:
Full papers or presentations will be required
by 21 March 2003.
Presentations
All presentations at the Conference will be presented
in English. Translations will not be available.
